Great news! The article of project team members Darius Plikynas, Arūnas Miliauskas, and Rimvydas Laužikas has been accepted for publication in Proceedings of the 2019 2nd International Conference on Algorithms,
Computing and Artificial Intelligence (ACAI’19).
On November 20, Dean of the Faculty of Communication of Vilnius University and one of the main implementers of this project, namely prof. dr. Rimvydas Laužikas, gave a presentation to the staff of Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania about the possibilities of digital technologies, during which he did not miss the opportunity to tell about our project as well. On November 19, 2019, the project implementers met with representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania to discuss opportunities for cooperation.
We are delighted with the project leader prof. dr. Darius Plikynas’ participation in the Intelligent Systems Conference (IntelliSys) 2019 conference during which he delivered a presentation titled Agent-Based Simulation of Cultural Events Impact on Social Capital Dynamics. Even more so, this work is now being featured in the Proceedings of IntelliSys 2019 in the series Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing!
MSBC-2019 is an International EURO Mini Conference named Modelling and Simulation of Social-Behavioural Phenomena in Creative Societies that will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on September 18-20, 2019.
This conference is partly funded by a grant from the Research Council of Lithuania and is part of this research team project!
We would like to inform you that we successfully completed the first half of the project and received permission to continue the project.
We are happy to announce that one of the principal project implementers, namely prof. habil. dr. Leonidas Sakalauskas, will participate in the 29th European Conference on Operational Research (Valencia 8-11 July 2018). The title of his report is set to be Simulation of Cultural Processes and Their Social Impact.
On May 8, the project team met with one of its partners, namely Lithuanian Culture Research Institute. We want to thank our partners for a meaningful time and we look forward to future meetings!
The implementers of the project will meet with the project partner, Lithuanian Culture Research Institute, to share their activities with each other and discuss the prospects of collaboration. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute building (Saltoniškių St. 58, Vilnius) on Tuesday, May 8 at 10 a.m.
